Snorkeling Excursion at Zingaro Reserve

Starting Point : Marina of Castellammare del Golfo (maps coords.: 38.03061, 12.88118) | Departure time : Morning: 8,30/9:00 (preferable, as the sea is usually calmer) – Afternoon: 14:00/14:30 | Price : € 60,00 p.p. – Discount for large groups

The Excursion | Once the crew (a guide and the driver) will meet guests, the navigation will start aboard the ‘Stardust‘ (that’s the name of our dinghy) towards the Zingaro Natural Reserve. The duration of the tour is approximately 4h and 1/2, and it will stop 3-4 times to swim, snorkel, taking sun and enjoying the view in some enchanting places such as: Tonnara di Scopello, Cala dell’Uzzo, Cala Capreria, Cala del Varo.

Refreshments on board | The Diving Center will take care to deliver on board some of Sicilian food excellences, such as ‘Pane cunzato’, Sfincione, and the Alcamo’s white wine, and, above all, fresh fruit from our friends of Di Marco’s farm.

What to bring | Sun cream, sun hat and towel.

Suitable to everyone and chidren | The Diving Center has thought of this solution specifically for all those who have a great desire to explore our coasts, with or without a diving license. But be careful, this is not an usual excursions. Our Bio-Snorkeling, although not claiming patents or expert divers, has an eye for the inhabitants of our sea.

Children are the ones who most likely have the most fun! The entire excursion will be managed in complete safety, thanks to the presence of an expert guide onboard, trained in first aid in the water. Armrests for the little ones are absolutely recommended, although life jackets are present on board.

Treasure Hunt | During the stops, the most daring and curious will be able to join a special treasure hunt. After showing everyone a laminated card depicting some of the most marine common fauna in our waters, we will snorkel to set off in search. Whoever finds the highest number, will have a small prize!
